The 2010 Central Region Freestyle/Greco-Roman tournament schedule is provided below. As you will see our first event of the year is the Rules and Technique clinic next Saturday (March 6^th) from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at Cedar Park High School. If you have not already done so, please register for this free event at www.Fitness3F.com by clicking on the Camps & Clinic tab. This will be a great opportunity to kick start the season.

We tentatively have four Central Region tournaments scheduled (Apr. 10, Apr. 24, May 1 and May 8) and have filled in the gaps with three North Region events (Apr. 3, Apr. 17 and May 15). If you are interested in hosting a tournament this season please let me know so we can add additional local tournaments to our schedule.

High School and Youth Club Coaches Beware – the North Region recently released their FS/GR schedule and it would appear as though they are taking this wrestling thing seriously! Not only are they offering a full slate of tournaments during the months of April and May, but they have also scheduled a summer series of tournaments in June. If you are planning to compete with North Region teams during the next Folkstyle season be advised that they will be working continuously through the summer to beat you.
